Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026 · 1776 Telecom LLC
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you shop, activate service, or contact support, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, payment card details (processed by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers), and any information needed to activate your SIM or transfer your phone number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we collect device and browser information, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. Your shopping cart is stored locally on your own device using your browser's local storage, so your cart persists between visits on that device.
Customer proprietary network information (CPNI). As a wireless provider, we receive certain data about the service you use — for example, call detail, data usage, and the type of plan you are on. Federal law gives you rights over this information, described in Section 5.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, activate, and maintain your wireless service
- Process orders, payments, and number transfers
- Provide customer support and respond to your questions
- Bill and renew your plan, and prevent fraud
- Improve our website, plans, and coverage information
- Send service notices and, with your consent, marketing messages
- Comply with legal obligations, including lawful requests from law enforcement
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate — payment processors, shippers, activation and network partners, and support tools — bound to use it only on our behalf
- Carriers and numbering administrators as needed to activate service and port phone numbers
- Law enforcement and regulators when we receive a valid legal request, such as a subpoena or court order
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business
4. Your choices
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us. Service-related notices (billing, activation, security) are part of the service and cannot be turned off while you are a customer. You can clear your locally saved shopping cart at any time by removing items or clearing your browser storage.
5. CPNI rights
We use CPNI only to provide the service you requested and for billing, unless you approve other uses. You have the right to restrict the use of, and access to, your CPNI. To do so, contact us at the address below with the phone number on your account. Approving or restricting CPNI use does not affect your service, and your choice remains valid until you change it.
6. California privacy rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information, there is no "Do Not Sell" mechanism. To make a request, email us with the subject line "Privacy Request" and the phone number or email associated with your account. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with record-keeping obligations that apply to wireless carriers, and to resolve disputes. We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit and access controls, but no system is completely secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Children's privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date.
